It’s hard to believe, but it’s been just over a year since I officially launched my interior design company in Ireland.
Time flew by so quickly that I almost missed the moment to celebrate this milestone.
The past year has been full of challenges, triumphs, and countless lessons. And while I didn’t take the time to reflect on it earlier, now feels like the perfect moment to pause and look back at everything we've achieved.
This year has been a journey of growth, adaptation, and constant improvement. As an entrepreneur, I’ve been fully immersed in every aspect of the business—caring for it like a child, nurturing it with dedication, and watching it grow. Like any child, the company has its own pace of development, and I've done everything possible to ensure it grows in a healthy, stable way, adjusting to the ever-changing dynamics of the Irish market. There have been obstacles, but I’ve worked tirelessly to ensure the company remains strong and stable.
During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to develop over 30 interior design concepts. Each project was a new challenge, a fresh idea, and a testament to the growth of my skills and the direction of the business. I’ve worked hard to refine my approach, ensuring that every design reflects the unique needs of each client. I’m proud of these achievements and the diversity of the projects completed over the past year.
This year has taught me that my work is not just about completing projects; it’s about choosing the ones that resonate with me on a deeper, almost inexplicable level. It’s not enough to just execute a design; there must be a passion behind it, a sense of happiness in creating something that truly connects.
I’ve also discovered the importance of saying ''no'' to projects that don’t inspire me, which has been a real revelation, because my business, for me, is not just "to do a thing" - it’s life itself, and it should be a life lived with joy and purpose. So thank you to all my clients who collaborated with me this year, I'm glad we made it happen!
